Bobby Apple is a three-year-old Lhasa Apso/Schnauzer mix, who was picked up as a stray by the City of Cleveland Kennel. Bobby Apple came to us as part of our dog transfer program. Once here at the APL, a medical exam revealed that Bobby Apple had severe hip dysplasia that required surgery. Luckily for Bobby Apple, Dr. Michael Sanwald and his team at Banfield, the Pet Hospital of Aurora, agreed to perform the complicated medical procedure. After surgery, Bobby Apple spent time in the home of an APL Foster Care Volunteer family, where he received physical therapy and much love while he recovered. His new adopted mom calls him “Bobby Awesome.”
