2010 Radiothon Featured Animal - Madoline

<< Back

Madoline, a two-year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix, came to the Cleveland APL through our Humane Investigations Department, Cleveland’s own “Animal Cops.”  She lived in deplorable conditions and had an embedded collar.  This very painful injury happened when a small collar was put on her when she was a pup and was never replaced with a larger one as she grew.  As a result, the collar grew into her neck.  Madoline needed surgery at the APL to remove the collar, and lots of aftercare, including time away from the shelter with a loving foster care family.  Today Madoline is much-loved member of her adopted family!
