Mindy is a one-year-old boxer mix who was brought to the Cleveland APL by our Humane Investigations Department, Cleveland’s own “Animal Cops.” She had a very serious and painful case of mange. Mindy needed extensive treatment while at the APL and then spent nearly a month in the loving care of an APL Foster Care Volunteer. She quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite, and when she came back in the shelter for medical rechecks, Mindy had lots of visitors eager to celebrate her progress. Once healed, Mindy was quickly adopted. Her new family calls her a very playful and loving dog and reports that Mindy adores her canine sibling, Coco.
