Wanda came to us as a four-week-old kitten. She was found by a Good Samaritan who brought her to us because the kitten was injured. Wanda was not using her back leg. X-rays showed two fractures and a bullet in her leg. Initially, our APL veterinarian thought Wanda’s leg would have to be amputated. But a stay in the home of a loving APL Foster Care Volunteer and certified “dog person” proved to the just the cure Wanda needed. Oh, and Wanda’s foster mom became her “forever” mom when she adopted her!
