We would like to invite you to share our love and passion for animals as the Cleveland Animal Protective League (APL) hosts its annual Fur Ball gala: Cold Noses, Warm Hearts, one of Cleveland’s premier fund-raising events! This year’s event will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at the InterContinental Hotel Cleveland. The generosity of our community is the key to making this evening a success and we hope you can be a part of this wonderful night.
Each year, nearly 15,000 animals find shelter and care at the Cleveland APL, many of them rescued from abusive or neglectful situations. The Cleveland APL receives no government funding and relies solely on donations to operate our animal shelter, investigate animal cruelty and neglect, and provide education to our community. During these difficult economic times, your generosity is even more critical—now more than ever, the APL needs to be a safe haven for animals with no other options. To be able to continue to do this, we need you to help ensure the success of this year’s Fur Ball and move us closer to achieving the life-saving goals of expanding our veterinary treatment options, increasing adoptions, fighting pet overpopulation and developing more life-saving options for the animals in our care.
Please consider helping the Cleveland APL and its animals by donating an item or service for our live or silent auction. Popular items from past auctions include artwork, loge or box tickets, gift certificates, vacation packages, behind-the-scenes tours and experiences. Of course, these are only suggestions—we welcome your creative ideas as well!
How Your Donation Will Be Recognized:
- Your item will be featured in our program and creatively displayed at the event in front of nearly 350 guests.
- Your company name will be listed on our website leading up to the event.
