August 20, 2010

KobeHi all! It’s Kobe here. How would you like to be an angel? We’re making it easy for you. All you have to do is come to the Cleveland APL this weekend and adopt a cat.

Starting today (Aug. 20) and going through Sunday, Aug. 22, adoption fees will be reduced for all cats and kittens. The fee for kittens up to 5 months old will be $20. For cats 5 months and up, the fee will be just $5!!! Regular adoption fees are $45 for adult cats (up to age 6), $30 for senior cats, and $95 for kittens up to 5 months old.

BusterThe shelter is full of felines of all sizes, colors and ages, from adorable baby kittens to distinguished seniors like 9-year-old Buster, pictured here. Come on down and you are sure to find just the right one (or two) waiting here for you. We’re open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Help Our FriendsAnd for all you dog lovers out there, we wanted to remind you about Puppypalooza, the first-ever chance to bring your dog to a Cleveland Indians game, which is next Thursday, Aug. 26. Click here for details, including ticket information. All proceeds from dog ticket sales will benefit the Cleveland APL.  Us felines love the Tribe, too, but Ozzycrowds—well not so much!  We plan to listen to the game from the shelter and cheer on our Indians!!

Until next week…

Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
