It’s Kobe here! Although my brother finally took his turn last week at writing, his head is far too big ever since he was featured in Sunday’s Plain Dealer! He told me that I will have to make an appointment to discuss this week’s blog. So, I just decided to write it myself!
UPDATE -- I am so excited to announce that Ace, the lovable dog Ozzy featured in last week’s blog, was adopted this week! We are so happy for Ace and are so glad that he will get to celebrate the holidays in his new home with his loving new mom!
The cats here at the APL are really in a festive mood!
Given their holiday spirit, the great folks here at the APL decided to celebrate the Twelfth Day of Cat-mas! This weekend, Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th, all cats and kittens here at the APL will be available for only $20! We hope that Cat-mas will help them get their most wanted holiday gift—a new home!
Many shelters used to discourage people from adopting during the holiday season as they feared that schedules would be too busy or animals would be returned after the excitement of a new pet wore off.
HOWEVER, the APL has found theopposite to be true, and we believe that if the we continue to educate adopters about making a life-long commitment to their adopted pet, then together we can continue to save even more lives!
I highly suggest adopting a feline…we are highly intelligent! But you already know that since we write a blog each week!
Oh, I almost forgot! Our Cage Sponsorship challenge is still going on! We have 6 sponsors so far! Thank You! But we are hoping to get to 25 cage sponsors by the end of the year! Our annual cage sponsors bring hope and comfort to our animals while they wait for their future mom or dad to adopt them.
Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
