Cats’ Eye View

KobeNovember 12, 2009

Hi everyone, Kobe here again!  This week there is something very fun going on at the Cleveland APL.  We have certified pre-owned cats available for adoption at the APL!  For one day only, the adoption fee for cats will be well below the Mew Book value.  On Saturday November 14th, all cats 5 months and older will be available for $5 down and 0% financing.  Kittens under 5 months will be available for a one-time payment of only $25.

OzzyOzzy and I both hope people who are looking to adopt a cat come down to the APL this Saturday.  But if you can’t get down to us on the 14th, please stop and visit our friends at Ganley Volkswagen/Subaru in Bedford, where some of our wonderful felines (and some great dogs, too), will be available for adoption at the same special adoption fee.

We have LOTS of cats and kittens available for adoption at the APL and the nice people here like to get them into loving homes. Lego One special cat who is waiting to find her forever home is Lego.  She is a 5-year-old orange tabby (that is rare for a girl).  A Good Samaritan brought her to the APL as a stray.  She had a broken leg and very few teeth.  Caring people who donate the APL’s Second Chance Program help the APL to provide special care for animals like Lego.

Help Our FriendsLego got medical care at the APL, an X-ray to look at her leg, then a cast, and even dental surgery to remove her damaged teeth.  She went to a wonderful home with a great foster family who cared for her till her cast could come off.  Even though Lego does not have teeth, she still manages to eat her wet food and be, well, an all-around perrrrfect cat!  When people choose to donate to the APL, they can always choose to give to the Second Chance Program and help us help more cats like Lego who need extra medical care!

OzzyI have to tell you, writing this blog every week is a bit tiring.  As you can see, I wanted to take a nap today and have Ozzy write.  When I woke Ozzy up and told him it was his turn to write the blog, this is what he did.  The nice people in the offices here at the APL said what he did is not very polite.  Next week, Ozzy, it is YOUR TURN!  We will have lots to tell you when you check back to read our “Cats’ Eye View.”

Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
