Dawgs for the Dogs - July 31st 5-8pm

BWW StrongsvilleThe Browns Bunch is hosting the Dawgs for Dogs event to benefit the Cleveland APL! 

Stop by Buffalo Wild Wings in Strongsville on Saturday, July 31st from 5-8pm for all you can eat and drink!  You can have a chance to win an authentic autographed Jim Brown jersey, meet special guests Hanford Dixon and Herman Fontenot, and even adopt and APL dog!  For party or ticket information contact the Browns Bunch at BrownsBunch@Live.com.  

Buffalo Wild Wings is located at 8465 Pearl Road in Strongsville! 

Cut-A-Thon and Tatoo-A-Thon on August 14 and Oct 1, 2010! 

Blondie Hair DesignAlligator InkBlondie Hair Design and Alligator Ink Studios are hosting a Cut-A-Thon and Tatoo-A-Thon on August 3, 2010! 

Customers will be asked to make a donation and 100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Cleveland APL!  There will also be food, fun and raffle prizes! 

If you can’t make it on August 3rd, stop by in August or September and Blondie Hair Design will offer free haircuts to new customers in return for a $3.00 donation to the Cleveland APL! 

Stop by Alligator Ink Studios on Tuesdays in August or September and they will be offering free one and two hour tattoo sessions to all new clients for a $40-$100 donation to the APL

9th Annual Discover Cedar Fairmount Summer Dog Walk on August 8, 2010, at 2:00p.m

Looking for something fun to do with your pooch?  Come to the 9th Annual Discover Cedar Fairmount Summer Dog Walk on August 8, 2010, at 2:00p.m.  There will be a $5 registration fee that will benefit the Cleveland APL!  Stay tuned for more information!

Visit the Tap House - August 10, September 21 and October 12

Indians and Cleveland APL introduce PUPPYPALOOZA - August 26

The Cleveland Indians invite all four-legged friends and owners to the first ever Puppypalooza at Progressive Field on Thursday, August 26. Fans can bring their dogs to the ballpark as the Tribe hosts the Oakland Athletics at 7:05 p.m. The canine only event is in partnership with the Cleveland Animal Protective League (APL) and presented by Progressive Insurance– The car insurance that covers your pet too. The evening will be filled with activities, pet vendors and more fun for your favorite pooch! A portion of the proceeds from each Dog Package will benefit Cleveland APL. More information >>

Bark in the Park – August 31, 2010

The Shops of Old River Bitches @ Mitch’s - October 2, 11am-4pm

The incredible Shops of Old River on Old Detroit Road in Rocky River will be hosting their 4th annual fundraiser to benefit the Cleveland APL.  Mitchell Sotka Ltd. will again be the site of Bitches @ Mitch’s, featuring work of local designers and artists.  Participating merchants will donate a percentage of their sales and host animal-friendly events.  Grab your leash and bring your pooch to walk the street for a fun day of shopping and animal activities, including dog-friendly eateries and dog training and animal care tips.  The event will be held on Saturday, October 2, from 11 am to 4 pm.  “Rover,” the APL’s mobile adoption unit, will also be on site with adoptable cats and dogs.

Senior Wellness and Independence Expo - October 13, 2010

Stop by the Senior Wellness and Independence Expo on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Parmatown Mall!  We will be onsite with adoptable animals! 

Arrow Electronics Clam Bake - October 14, 2010, from 5-8pm

Arrow Electronics is hosting a Clam Bake to benefit the Cleveland APL!  Stop by Arrow Electronics on October 14, 2010, from 5-8pm for food and fun, including raffles, Chinese auctions and event a Corn Hole Tournament!  The Clam Bake will take place in the parking lot of Arrow Electronics located at 6675 Parkland Boulevard in Solon.
