Reduced adoption fees for adult dogs and cats!!!
The Cleveland Animal Protective League is celebrating St.
Patrick’s Day with pets in mind. This weekend, the holiday turns into St. PET-rick’s Day, and we’re
encouraging families to invite a new adopted pet into their lives by reducing our already low adoption
fees. Here’s your chance to bring some luck to the life of a homeless pet—but you’ll probably find that
by bringing a loving new companion into your heart and home – you’ll be the luckiest one of all!
This Saturday, and Sunday (March 19th & 20th), you can adopt an adult cat (5 months and older)
for only $17.00. The adoption fee for adult dogs (5months and older) will be $60.00. Each adoption
will also include a free 3.5lb. bag of Science Diet pet food, a collar, and an engraved, personalized
identification tag. (Tags are courtesy of a grant provided by the ASPCA). Regular adoption fees are
$85.00 for adult dogs and $45 for adult cats. The Cleveland APL doesn’t often reduce dog adoption fees,
but is doing so now as we’re full and need to find them all wonderful homes as quickly as possible so we
can help those who need to come in!
Adding to the wonderful animals already waiting for homes at the Cleveland APL’s Willey Avenue
animal shelter are six adult dogs and a mother dog with a litter of pups that the Cleveland APL
transferred in from a massive seizure of more than 360 dogs that were found living in horrific
conditions at the One More Chance No Kill Rescue’s shelter in Clark County, Ohio.
All animals are spayed-neutered, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, have received age appropriate
vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas, and come with a collar and personalized engraved tag,
helpful species-specific animal care information, 30 days of free pet health insurance, and a free initial
veterinary exam. Cats/kittens come with a travel box, and dogs/puppy adoptions include a leash. |
