Cleveland APL Celebrates the Fast and the Furriest!

The Fast and the FurriestCLEVELAND, OH (June 1, 2009) – It’s Adopt-a-Shelter Cat Month and the Cleveland APL is celebrating by holding its own “race” to the finish line with reduced cat adoption fees during the month of June so adopters will help them take first place for happy endings in their homes!

Between June 1st and 30th, black and black and white cats and kittens will be leading the pack with adoption fees of $55 for kittens (under 5 months old) and $30 for adult cats (5 months to 6 years).  All kitten and cat fees will be reduced to these same low prices every Thursday, or Purrsday, during the month of June.

Also between June 1st and June 30th:

  • Cat adopters will get a free cat bed! (While supplies last; quantities are limited.)
  • All cat adopters of a will receive a free 4 pound bag of Hill’s Science Diet food
  • Microchips will be available for animals adopted during this time for only $10.
  • All adopters will receive a free 2009 Cleveland APL Pet Calendar
All animals adopted from the APL have been spayed-neutered, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, have received age appropriate vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas, and come with a collar and APL ID Tag, helpful species-specific animal care information, and a free initial veterinary exam. Cats and kittens come with a travel box, and dogs and puppies go home with a leash.
