Kobe here! Oh boy did last weekend really go to the dogs…literally! Once in a while Ozzy and I feel a need to give our canine friends some love and attention, too!
We wanted to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the Lake Erie Monsters for hosting the 2nd Annual Pucks and Paws game on Sunday! This was a s
pecial hockey game that allowed hockey fans to bring their pooches to the game! The turn out for the game was awesome; 481 dogs enjoyed the Monsters shoot out win! 100% of each doggie ticket sold was donated to help all the animals at the APL! THANK YOU to everyone who attended and helped support the fine work done here at the APL!
Our friend Tim Richards from Q104 and his dog, Cole, took part in
the ceremonial puck drop! There were many doggie-related vendors there, too! Oh and I almost forgot that the first 200 dogs even got a super cool toy! Not only did the dogs enjoy being the VIP guests for the day, but they also loved the hot dogs from the concession stands!
Once again thanks to the Monsters and all of the attendees to help make the Pucks and Paws game a tremendous success!
We’ll be back next week with more APL happenings…Even though we like our canine friends, well we are going to make sure next week’s info is all about our CATS!!!!
Until next time…
Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
